If you select "automatically check email every x minutes" in a
password protected account, you have to open the account to make
this feature working, otherwise it doesn't work.
I'd very like if you can select to check email even if the account
is password protected.
When I'm on holiday I'd like that my computer (always on) could
check and download my email, but I don't like to make my private
email visible to anyone.
I could not leave mail on server for 10 days: 500 messages a day
could fill the mailbox within 3 days. And also I need to redirect
urgent mails to my palmtop account.
AFAIK I can only ask to someone to open my private account or I can
leave my account open.
Is it possible to make "automatically check email every x minutes"
feature working with a password protected account even if it's not
open?
