Greetings John!

??. ?? ??? -lq?????????!
Romaji Kanji here. Though I know nada-zero-nit about Japaneese.
If some of this comes out legible do tell me.
Like word pad... heh heh, I get about the same results in the bat as
I get in an editor called Unix Edit (which is similar to Ultra
Edit/32.) But I can just cut n paste to word pad; like I usually have
to do for ANY Japaneese translation[s]. To me, since

JDH> I received a private tip on this question from Eberhard Hafermalz
JDH> <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> (who gave permission to publicize it) about using
JDH> KanjiKit2000 (which I guess is the new name for UnionWay).

JDH> This works quite well with The Bat!, at least for Japanese display, but
JDH> has the unfortunate side effect of interfering with proper display in
JDH> Word2000. (It's also quite expensive, although its usefulness extends to
JDH> other programs I use such as NewsBin Pro.)

JDH> It would be nice if The Bat! supported an external editor/viewer, so
JDH> people in my situation could use a program that handled their language
JDH> of choice instead of the built-in editor, which is not geared to
JDH> Japanese use.

JDH> My conclusion for now is, I'll continue using a Japanese mailer until
JDH> TB2 delivers true two-byte language compatibility.
