figured it out
I had a problem where I originally had 2 accounts that were password
protected. when I upgraded to 1.42f I could only add one mail account
because the 'accounts' menu did not show 'new' or 'delete' on the
list.
If you are going to upgrade the bat, and you
have password protected accounts here are some tips.
when I installed the first time, it asked me to create account and I
named it the same name as one of my previous existing mail accounts.
Thus it found all the information and folders and mail etc..
You should not do this!!!!
instead when asked to create an account, use a different name
(fictional if you want) then the 'account' menu shows 'new' and
'delete'. So you can add more accounts, and delete the fictional one.
note: before I reinstalled I deleted the registry entries for RIT in
the hkey current user and hkey local machine
