On 20 May 2000 at 09:05:00 GMT -0400 (which was 14:05 where I

of "message finder window pos.":

When  I  press  F7  (running 1024*768 on my laptop) I get a reasonably
sized  window,  large  enough  for the purpose, centred on my desktop.
Indeed,  it  does not remember the last position of window state but I
haven't needed it to.

I  can  see  that  it might be a problem at lower resolutions. Perhaps
what you have really uncovered is a bug with the Search window used in
...  whatever  screen  setup  you have. You don't say what that is, so
it's harder to be more explicit.
