The workaround I am using for now is below. It allows The Bat! to find and use GnuPG. But GnuPG operations take about three times as long when called from TB! under Wine compared to my Windows setup. Is this sluggishness normal? And does anybody have a better workaround? Workaround:- In Wine's "Program Files" directory, create a symlink "GnuPG" to the Windows folder where gpg.exe and iconv.dll reside. Add that location to Wine's PATH environment variable as "C:\Program Files\GnuPG". (To avoid duplicating my GnuPG keyrings and configuration files for the test, I also created a symlink "GnuPG" from Wine's "user1\Application Data" directory to the corresponding Windows location.) -- Best regards MFPA mailto:[email protected] The second mouse gets the cheese Using The Bat! v4.0.38 on Windows XP 5.1 Build 2600 ________________________________________________ Current version is 5.2.2 | 'Using TBUDL' information: http://www.silverstones.com/thebat/TBUDLInfo.html
