I tried to follow the first advice on that forum to locate the avast!
mail certificate, but I don't have it on this computer (this computer
uses Avira).

I will try on the laptop, which uses avast. However, I have already
changed from using TB! certs to using Microsoft API certs, as was
advised here before, and that already works well.

It makes sense to have the avast! cert in the TB! list of certs
though.
