I don't know what version of Windows you're running but you should be able to right-click on a blank part of the desktop and get a screen resolution menu up. I had display problems with TB! a while back and it was all because I had my screen resolution messed up. I was trying to get the screen font bigger and was successful but it messed up the way TB! displayed things.
