For each folder of email messages in The Bat! there is a "Messages.tbb" 
file containing all the messages in that folder. There will also be a 
much smaller "Messages.TBI" or "messages.TBN" (depending on which 
version of TB! you are using) index file.

3,941,835KB sounds like a very large folder of messages; my largest is 
currently reported as 518,673KB and that folder contains 13,843 
messages.
