I am not running ME as it lacks a few drivers I need... But when
trying it I had no problem with my mail or IE.
NOTE: this was on a bare system, nothing installed except my internet
/ BAT
IE not working properly, as MS sticks IE into anything they can think
off quite possible that something from one of their other applications
interferes.
If you have a spare drive I would make another clean install and see
if IE works, then add the Bat and try it...
