I had recently noticed what I thought was a tendency of TB! to not
properly disconnect from the POP3 server, or at least some kind of
process had not properly shut down, or did so slowly. This is while
running the 1.45 beta series, however, and I hadn't noticed this
before. I've not seen the dialog boxes failing to close, and the
taskbar shows nothing active in the way of sending/receiving, but on
occasion some process is still running in the background when I
attempt to shut down TB!. Cannot be more specific, I'm afraid. (As
opposed to the recent thread here involving W2K, this is under
Win98se, so I'm assuming a different animal altogether.) Have not
said anything about it as my ISP has also had some problems with their
mail servers of late, so have not been certain whether the problem
lies here or there ... am still not sure, but if others have similar
experiences it bears looking into.
