        This is an intentional thing and occurs because one is able to
store multiple entries of the same person but with different e-mail
addresses. Suppose, the same person wants you to use a different e-mail
address for mailing lists as opposed to private mail. You could manage
the two separate entries without ones editing being reflected in the
other. When you copied and pasted the entry in the mailing list group
TB! created a new independent entry.

        How to get around this to make things as convenient for your
situation; I don't know. :-/
