If you right click a folder, there is a checkbox called "Use Account
Default Column Settings." If you check this box, it becomes a
"defaulted" folder.
Let's say you have ten folders which you've just made "defaults". If
you change the column settings in any one of those ten, the other nine
also change to reflect the new column settings you've made. Very handy
indeed.

Already does... Make sure the Use account default settings option is
off for that folder when you create it.

Errr. The closest right now is using CTRL 1 - 10 (See View/Sort By in
the menu.)

You can by setting the sort criteria of a folder that is one of the
