So are you saying it is still in the same folder, i.e. the read fitler
hasn't kicked in, just the folder view window is blank?
so it seems not like it is a read filter problem but maybe it is: I
don't use read filters, and I don't have this problem. Mails come in
all the time while I'm reading mails.
