I have used all of the time synch software mentioned here (especially
Tardis and D4) and selected AboutTime http://www.arachnoid.com
(mentioned by Thomas very early in the thread) as the best of the
bunch. It works well with proxies and provides TCP, UDP and SNTP time
services for a LAN too. All this in the smallest footprint and
simplest configuration of the lot.
Having said that, let's move this OT to TBOT if there is more to be
said on the topic ... which seems pretty exhausted to me... or maybe
it's just run out of time <ducks>.
