Got your point. No multipart/alternative, either.

Nice feature, then. How about this: if I click on "delete the
attachment", the message would be converted into this plian-text
version? In that case, it would be transparent to the user whether
it's a "real" attachment or not. Saved would be the plain-text message
as desired.
