Hi Jason,

On 15 September 2000 at 12:24:28 GMT -0700 (which was 20:24 where I
live) Jason Thompson wrote and made these points on the subject
of "and a pgp question":

Quite so.

JT> Is there an alternative that PGP wouldn't touch?

No, but there is the much published RE to provide reply quotes from
PGP signed messages which take the extra dash into account:

%quotes="%SETPATTREGEXP=""(?is)(.*^-----BEGIN PGP
SIGNED.*?\n(Hash:.*?\n)?\s*)?(.*?)(^(- --\s*\n|_{40,}\s*\n|-----BEGIN PGP
SIGNATURE)|\z)""%REGEXPBLINDMATCH=""%text""%SUBPATT=""3"""

(This is a single long line and should be copied as such by using an
external editor).
