It doesn't require much thought for my idea.
Just have your shutdown request message take the form:
Subject: Mark Says Exit
Body: Password: 102030405
Then make the main rule of the filter look like:
String Location Presence
Mark Says Exit Subject Yes
Password: 102030405 Text Yes
Mark Sender Yes
The password would help reduce the chance that some other Mark could
send you a message with the word exit in the subject and trigger your
filter.
