Oleg,
In the Tools/General Setup/Message View in Becky 2, it explicitly states
that you can use MSIE 3.x for HTML, but if you use MSIE 3.x, you must
also check the box to invalidate executable tags. I also understand
that leaving the MSIE box unchecked will fire up your default browser if
any other program (mine is Opera), though I have not tried it.
There is also a plug-in to allow you to send mail in HTML format only
(not just plain and HTML) though why anybody should want to do so is
beyond me.
Becky 2 also has a plug-in to turn it into a newsreader, and a fair one
at that.
In fact, the only plug-in that I have not yet got to work is the PGP
plug-in, particularly as it is supposed to support the 6.5.1 command
line (in PGP 6.5.3 and 6.5.8). I can live with that and just use the
PGPnet icon.
Becky 2 is still in beta testing, and doesn't have the power of the Bat,
but it is definitely worth looking at.
