I'm not picking particularly on Tony when I say this... but I can't
believe the nature of those statements.  Although I agree that the list
should never entertain, for example, a debate of whether Opera or
Mozilla parses JavaScript "The Right Way", I'm shocked to see a
sentiment asking that a discussion be censored because it is about an
alternate email client.

Yes, it is a "The Bat! User's Discussion List"... but the key sentiment
there is "The Bat! User's", not merely "The Bat!".  How can we know what
we'd like to see done with TB! if we don't look at what others have
done, even in excruciating detail, to see what can be done?

Like I said, I'm not trying to pick on you Tony -- I enjoy reading your
posts...  I'm just jumping on the call for censorship and the Pure
State.
