I think use of another mailer is a non-issue and doesn't merit further
discussion. I use it because I know it and like it. I'm studying The Bat
and learning about it, from my own mistakes and from those, self-
confessed, of the list participants. For instance, I too have now lost
messages and I'm really quite concerned about it. Having used various
mailing programs since Fido days, I'm unwilling to commit to a new
mailer until A. I know it's safe, B. it works for me and C. I like working
with it. You won't here n'yah n'yah comments from me. I'm
uninterested in that sort of dialogue. Leave it to partisan politicians.

By the same token, I'll not be making disparaging remarks about
other mailers. When I buy a car, I want to know from the salesman
why I should buy HIS car, not why I shouldn't buy the other guy's. The
only complaint I've ever made publicly about Microsoft stuff has been to
whine about lack of a comment field in the Favourites.

Whatever programming conventions tickle yer gizzard. I'm here
to shop and learn, not to garner respect. Be well.
