Exactly the same happened to me during my Win2K period. I installed 2K
and restored my Bat with no trouble. Realising that 2k wasn't for me I
put 98 back on. The reverse wasn't to be however and even though I had
my AB backup, until some pointed me in the right direction I couldn't
get at them.
Losing a lifetimes supply of e-mail addresses is a frightening
experience :-)
