It's interesting how this glyph support came about. When I had just
subscribed to the list, there was a discussion on the awful appearance
of the interface icons. Of course, as with most opinions as this, it
didn't have a 100% following. :-) The very good point was made that it
would be great if TB! could support icon customization as Opera did,
with one being able to create their own icon sets etc.

Well TB! did just that and released the present icon set (it's earliest
version) as a glyph.bmp file. Simply place the file in the installation
directory and the icon images within the bmp file would be
preferentially used. Since the release of these better icon images,
there has been a relative silence on the issue except for Tony's
modifications to one of the glyph files.

I'm summarising this in case there are icon artists who're using TB! and
would be interested in creating new icon images as with Opera. I'm
pretty sure there weren't any previously but the TB! user-base has
increased quite markedly to date.
