That's absolutely true but, OTOH, I don't know of any ISPs using MS
Exchange to serve end user accounts. I /do/ know of ISPs using MDaemon
for that purpose. It far more an industrial strength mail server than
exchange on that basis.
Of course, as David originally pointed out, it is the additional
Exchange features like global address books, push mail delivery and
fax support that stitch customers into the use of Exchange Server.
Still, let's not carry this too far OT. No more than a couple of
replies on this thread (if there's anything else that needs saying).
