I had guessed that.

Yes. I use a Psion 5mx that I connect into outlook to compose emails
when I am not using my Lap Top.

I thought it was standard to re-boot after every change. <grin>
My laptop was started to experience some other problems.
(1) Blue screen of death when doing nothing.
(2) IIS5 Not starting.
(3) ASP rebooting the laptop.
(4) Delphi5 and MSSQL 2000 client not working.
(5) SQL that can run on MSSQL 2000 but not MSSQL 7.
(6) Some programs not running at all but not reporting any errors.
I have therefore wiped it all and rebuilt it.
So far I don't have the same problem.
