Hi,
In setting up a template to use for an autoresponse,
I'm wondering if there is any way to use template
macros to extract certain text strings from the text
of the e-mail that is being responded to.
All the incoming mail to which I'll be auto-responding
is generated by a web form, and therefore all messages
will conform to a single standard format (see below
for a sample). What I'd like to be able to do is
extract the information for FIRST NAME and LAST NAME
and put this information into my reply.

way to do this. I'm not really very familiar with
regular expressions, however, and I'd be very grateful
if anyone on the list could tell me clearly what I
need to do.
Here's an example of the type of e-mail I'd be
responding to and from which I'm trying to extract the
information for FIRST NAME and LAST NAME so that I can
insert these into my auto reply:
