Hi BatFolks,

This problem has surfaced several times in this list recently
(with several variations), but none of the suggested
remedies/workarounds has solved my dilemna...

Often, 2-3 times/day, the program "hangs" while Receiving Mail -
sometimes with the first of two accounts, sometimes with the
second. After a while (minutes), it sometimes cancels iteself, but
often requires me to cancel manually. In either case, the
next mail check re-downloads all messages on server (I keep these
here for one day, because occasionally messages are received by
the server over the limit I've set in options - if I don't save
on server for a day, these oversize messages will be deleted -
this surprised me!).

So with numerous re-downloads, much efficiency is lost. I
recently upgraded to 1.47, hoping that would solve the
problem...nope. Am using NAV 2000 and have configured Receive
Mail as suggested on this list and in Norton docs (i.e. server
127.0.0.1, username/server.com). I do notice in headers of all
messages that "X-NAV-TimeoutProtection0: X" repeats seven times.

In most respects, The Bat! is the best email client I've used,
but this behavior is not acceptable. Please help! Many thanks in
advance. Since I've submitted this request before (as have
others), should we consider this a "bug" and submit to RitLabs?
