Hello TBUDL Members!
Last Friday I updated from 1.47 to 1.48 and from then on couldn't get
my e-mail from GMX via POP3. First I thought it is again a problem
with GMX but today I got some time to fiddle around.
First I updated to 1.48f, then I tried POP log on -BTW, SMTP was not a
problem. I couldn't get my e-mail. Then, just to try everything out,
since I have seen that Ritlabs had changed the POP password dialog, I
filled in my password in the appropriate field under
"Properties/Transport". It worked, I could log on and get e-mail.
Whatever happened between 1.47 and 1.48 I consider this a very
serious bug until someone could tell me what I am doing wrong. I just
don't want to have any passwords on my hard drives; I want to be
prompted to fill it in every time (and SMTP still works like this).
