not continuing to be developed after version 2 has been released:

If that were o happen, v. 1.xx will become a collectors item, a
classic. Many will still w/ with it for a while in any case, as v. 2
will be the first upgrade requiring an additional cash outlay.
It will have to be good - better than v. 1.xx.
I'm in no hurry.
