I'd like to know, if it is possible to sign an attachment with
PGP? If I attach my public key to a message, how can the
recipient be sure it wasn't replaced on its way through the
internet?
I imagine you could attach the public key and sign the message
afterwards. The recipient could then take the newly received
public key and - with that key - check if the message with the
key arrived unaltered. But that only works if the attachment is
signed as well.
Has anybody got a better idea for sending a public key? (Apart
from key servers or downloads from web pages. I *want* to send
it!)
