I am using Agent - as, what it is intended to be, a newsreader. For
that it is excellent, as an e-mail client it is not as good as TB!.
Don't forget that Agent is mainly a newsreader and TB! is - thank
whoever - solely an e-mail client.
In my experience TB! is much more user friendly than a lot of other
programmes save for the usual snags that you will find in every prog.
After changing my employer I now have to work on an iMAC with OE for
Macintosh. Guess my opinion according userfriendliness to both ... you
are right, they suck.
Oh, BTW, when I was still a regular member of discussions on the
Usenet I found something out, I consider profound wisdom: Folks in
newsgroups tend to be of the sort I call "Leserbriefschreiber"
(translates roughly to "Writers of letters to the editor"); they have
always something to pick about, are never to be satisfied and don't
ever think, they themselves could be wrong, it's always the other who
are to blame.
An example would be the asking for a new version of Agent; totally
unnecessary since it is perfect for what it is intended to be, there
are only minor glitches which could be but don't have to be "fixed".
Sorry for bickering ...
