No hardware changes, unless you count moving to a different desk :)
Software: Installed Opera 5.02 over 5.01. Installed TB! 1.49 over 1.48f
(although this was after the problem was already happening.)
No resizing problems in any other apps, including Outlook and FreeAgent, both
with similar "pane" layouts.
