As a Delphi developer myself I am guessing that RIT Labs are not even
working on the Linux version at the moment and are instead working all
out on just the Windows version.

The reason why I say this is that The Bat! probably uses several
components that were developed by other companies. Since software
developers can't specialize in all aspects of software development we
usually buy ready made components, such a spell checker, that were
developed by other companies and "snap it on" to our own product.

So, when we as developers upgrade our development environment, say
from Delphi version 2 to Delphi version 5, as in the case of the new
Bat! version coming out, they have to wait for the company that they
bought the component from to convert it to the new Delphi environment.

Again, this is just my guess! I love Linux and would love to have a
TB! version, but, given what I have read from the developers of RIT
Labs in various forums they are far to busy at the moment to work on a
Linux version.

Also, if they DO release a Linux version don't count on the same "look
and feel" of the Windows versions.
