If I understand you correctly, you are asking for a client-based e-mail program (such
as
TB) that will work well with a web-based e-mail program (such as Operamail) by way of
IMAP. The way TB supports IMAP is this: it checks the various folders on your
web-account
(including the "Sent"-folder") and imports the messages into TB. By this import it can
create folders in TB corresponding to those on the web-account - but it cannot create
folders on the web-account corresponding to those in TB, and it cannot export messages
from TB to the web-account. Neither will it import or export address-books. TB cannot,
therefore, *synchronize* with a web-account the way Outlook and Oulook Express
synchronises with Hotmail. But, given these "limitations", it works well with
IMAP-supporting web-accounts such as www.operamail.com , www.mailandnews.com and
www.myrealbox.com .
