Ah - good point. This mission statement is extracted from the message
sent out when folks sign up for the list. However, I have excluded the
bulk of the rules that follow. The "details" appear after the rules in
the welcome text and hence got chopped from this text too.
There actually *is* a tbtech.sub link at the end of all TBUDL mail, so
it /kind/ of made sense :-/.
Anyway, I will move the TBTECH details into the mission statement
ready for next month's transmission. For those that can't wait, here
they are. Also omitted, details of the Rogues Gallery and how to
contribute a photo.
Would anyone like to expose their visage so that we can put a "face to
the name"?

TBTECH - The Bat technical discussion list

The TBTECH list has been set up for the purpose of discussing The Bat!
and related issues that are of a more technical nature than is catered
for in the TBUDL list. Such topics as Regular Expression, RFC content
and compliance, plug-in programming, Spell-checker semantics, 3rd
party software, ISP policy, Internet protocols and anything else that
would bore a beginner into leaving the TBUDL!

Anyone else wishing to appear in the gallery, here's how:
Send your picture by e-mail to <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>. Please
provide it as a 120x144 jpeg image to reduce Marck's workload.
For those of you who do not know how or do not have an image editing
program to do this, send the image to Marck and he'll do it (if a bit
reluctantly).
Make sure you include your name and the e-mail address you want to
use, as you want it to appear on the page.
