TB's unaided auto-complete uses the address history lists from the
drop downs. TB also has an "aided" complete on <Ctrl+Plus>, which
retrieves successive matching entries from the Address Book. There is
also an unaided handle matching whereby typing a handle and tabbing to
the next input field will result in the auto replacement of the handle
with the full name/address from the AB.
