v1.49 is indeed latest official version. 1.49e is beta version and they (RIT
guys) don't put betas on web site, so you must lurk via ftp -
ftp://ftp.ritlabs.com/the_bat/beta/tb149e.zip ... I guess is a correct syntax.
Archived beta versions contain only thebat.exe file, nothing more - and no
install process.
Yes, latest editions of TB! are larger.
