Hi Olga,
do you have an "official" email client at work?
(I don't think that your company has no email traffic.)
Perhaps you only have to take a look at it's settings concerning pop
and smtp server, user id and password.
1. TheBat! will connect through (proxy/)mail server after changing
settings at Account - Properties - Transport.
There you have to fill in the 'SMTP-Server', the 'Mail Server for
delivery', your 'User ID' and your 'Password'.
2. Perhaps you have to activate 'Combined delivery' at the buttom because
authentification to the proxy-/email server.
3.Then go to Options - Network & Administration: just activate 'Local Area
Network or Manual Connection'.
The kind TheBat! connects your mail account depends on the settings in
the 'transport' menue, as far i understood.
Hope, it will help a little to give TheBat! a chance in your company,
especially for your mails;)
