Hi batters!,
I am a newbie trying to climb the steep learning curve of TB.
Trying tp follow the TB help instructions and this NG, I installed version 7 of
PGP, uninstalled it, installed version 6.5.8, created a key ring and even
succeded in sending myself, to a second e-mail account, a locked
message, and then unlocking the received mail.
Now, when I try to go ahead and import a key following the directions
in another TB thread, TB tells me that I have to create a key first. I
cannot even lock a new message as I did before.
After all this experimenting, I finished with a key ring in a
directory Network Associates\PGP\PGP Keyrings. This contains the files
pubring.pkr, secring.skr, and four backups (1 to 4) of each file.
According to PGPKeys, the key pair expires next year.
How can I make TB recognize these keypair?
Should I uninstall and start everything over?
Any exit from this labirynth?
I lifesaver from the experts would be greatly appreciated.
