Not quite.
I seldom use the TB main window. You can do just about everything from
a folder window - more importantly, the ticker virtual folder window.
Folder views can have an independent view configuration from the main
window and are much wider (when screen real estate is at a premium).
Add couple of system-wide hotkeys and you seldom have to bring the
main TB window out of the tooltray. I only bring it out to search the
archives or to investigate my spam folder to "shop" the evil
spam-mongers to spam-cop.
