I have my machine on a small home network. Whenever someone is on
the net, I want the machine to check the mail and give a sound
whenever new mail is recieved. I have configured the program to
check for mail every 10 minutes. If this check comes when the
internet connection is down, the program tries to connect, does not
succed, and makes an error sound. This can be quite irritating.
Is it possible to turn this off?
