Unfortunately, though this looked very plausible (because I had to
temporarily replace my 1280x1024 LCD with an old less-capable CRT in
1024x768 res), tweaking the registry (stopping The Bat, removing the
MailTicker registry key, restarting TheBat, checking and flipping the
Mail Ticker settings) did not solve my problem.
Not a terrible issue, but I wonder what might have caused this.
