Both, actually. It breaks the threading and it changes the subject to
something like "Re: Digest (04/18/2001 23:36) Special Issue
(#2001-991)" which means absolutely nothing to the reader. We have to
open it and start reading to figure out if we want to bother reading
it in the first place (see: Useless and of no help).
