I thought that e-mail was supposed to be straightforward & easy; at the
moment I'm not even sure I'm properly following the 'instructions' for
contacting TBUDL. Because I have already spent an inordinate amount of
time trying to get moving with TB, which is supposed to be superior to
Eudora, Outlook, etc. and still am not functioning, I will simply paste in
the most recent message that I sent in asking for some assistance.

Last night I downloaded TheBat! based on a number of glowing
recommendations. I cannot get it to operate, i.e. receive/send
messages. So I contacted the Web site to get some Help. There was none. The

1) You probably sent your question to the subscribe robot instead of the
discussion group, so nobody has seen it to try to offer help
2) Being part of the discussion group is the best way of getting help.
3) There are dozens of ex-Eudora users in the group who can help you bridge
the gap and get using TB.
I suggest you send your question *to the group*. It is friendly and many
people are more than equipped to help you.
