Did you checked the (sub)folder properties, if there are no purge options
set? Maybe a good idea to compare it with other folders.
Did you also checked the real directory structure on your HD? A week
ago I was playing with a folder that I by accident had set to a
non-default path. So I changed it that back to default and after
restarting The Bat, *all* my folders were empty.
After taking a deep breath I found out that The Bat had moved all the
folders/messages (incl. inbox, outbox) to the sub folder (on my
hard disk) where I had changed the properties. When I moved all the
folders back to the root of my account (in explorer) and restarted The Bat! all was
fine, except the mentioned sub folder who was empty, although it was
available on my hard disk.
The solution was to delete the sub folder in The Bat! and recreate it and all was fine
:-).
Do a copy of the folder tree in explorer before you start to play
with it.
Hopefully my experience can be helpful for you.
