It's an old MSIE engine bug and the Ctrl+Reload trick will NOT help you.
BTW, the Shirt+Reload combination belongs to NN/NC.

At first, try to completely clean an IE cache: Tools - Internet Options
- General tab - Temporary Internet Files - Delete Files. Then look to
the Temporary Internet Files options found under the "Settings..."
button: the "Every visit to the page" radio button should be selected
and the whole cache size must be set to 16 Mb max.

Then you should switch to the "Advanced" tab and look if the "Use HTTP
1.1 through proxy connections" checkbox is set; if so, uncheck it.
