hmmm.  A couple things.
The Rainbow iKey's are not FIPS-140 certified (which basically means
that they can be broken open, and the data stored on the key is not
erased. A FIPS certified device will delete all sensitive information

get physical access to the device.

Rainbow, AFAIK, is working on getting the keys FIPS certified.

Has the Bat team looked at the iButton? www.ibutton.com
It is FIPS certified, supports java applets, and has 134 Kb on board.
It even has a USB docking station.  When I bought mine, it only cost
$32 + shipping.

A price of $140 doesn't seem too unreasonable for SecureBat; the features
are right, although it wouldn't make me want to purchase it.
