Hi All,
This is more just for information.
My main work PC (a Laptop) became faulty and I had to sent it back for
repair (Even thought I had on site warrantee). Being a member of
E-mailaholics International I had to move my email to another PC. I did my
usual which is
(1) Copy all the directories over.
(2) Do an install of the latest version.
(3) Overwrite the exe with the latest beta.
(4) Start up The bat! and put in the reg codes.
This has worked so far on a number of moves. This last time (getting my The
Bat! back to the Lap top after it returned) it did not work properly, I
could not get The Bat! to open properly. (Access violations, Grid out of
range etc etc)
The reason was that I had The Bat! collecting mail from a dial up at the
start and the new PC did not have that dial up set up.
So all I did was change the collection method so that The Bat! did not dial
up on start.
