Paddy, importing a Key and verifying a PGP signature are two different
functions. However, you *can* make PGP do both for you at the same time.
Open your PGP Options and go to the Server tab... and down at the bottom
you should see a section dealing with "Synchronize with Server upon..."
and there is where you want to check:

[x] Verification

- From that point on, whenever you instruct PGP (either through PGPTray or
the PGP Plugin) to verify a signature and you don't have the Public Key of
the Sender, PGP will automatically retrieve that Key from one of the
KeyServers on your list... and present you with the option of importing
that Public Key into your Public Key Ring, and verify the signature at the
same time. Go ahead and try it with this message.
