This little deal has been driving me nuts for a long time and I don't
recall hearing it addressed, but I could easily be mistaken on that
point:
I usually enter sig lines via quick templates. The placement of the
inserted QT varies tremendously. Sometimes it will appear directly
below my cursor (very rare, but desirable), usually it will appear
about 5 or 6 lines below my cursor, and sometimes it's been arounf
10-12 lines below.
I'm guessing it's pickup up blank lines somewhere but from where I
haven't a clue.
Anyone have any ideas what is going on, and if so how I can avoid or
work around this?

(FYI - this particular one appeared 3 lines below, then I just deleted
till it's where I wanted it)
