It's not often that someone new to TB! has this opinion. I do agree on it
though. It's different and that's the problem for many.

Alt+L will work even though you haven't highlighted the paragraph. The
cursor only need be within the paragraph. However, note that if the cursor
is placed within the paragraph with the mouse, Alt+L will not work, it
will only work if the cursor placement is done via the keyboard. So if you
position the cursor with the mouse, hit one of the arrow keys once and
then hit Alt+L. Another important thing to know about Alt+L reflowing is
that it removes extra spaces and tabs. OTOH, autoformat doesn't remove
extra spaces or tabs at the beginning of lines.
